Provincial Ministry Client
Our team of consultants successfully provided change management and HR transition planning services for a large scale transformation project that saw a Ministry shift its focus to a challenging new mandate and functional model. HR Associates consultants developed and delivered a range of HR transition, change management, business analysis and workforce planning programs and services to the ministry’s senior management.
Public Health Agency
Our consultant team successfully provided a range of strategic and operational HR services to a public health agency in the province. The team supported the agencies senior executives and HR leaders in implementing a workforce transition plan, change strategies, new job descriptions and human resources policies.
HR Associates partnered with a management consulting firm to assist with the planning phase for the start up of a new government agency. The project involved multiple deliverables to make the new agency operational within very tight deadlines. HR Associates prepared the organizational design, human resources implementation plan and initial compensation strategy for the new agency.
Recruitment of Interns
HR Associates managed the recruitment process to hire up to 150 government interns across 7 occupational areas. This large scale recruitment process involved screening thousands of online applicants and testing and interviewing over 400 individuals. HR Associates successfully completed this end to end recruitment process within budget and the clients timelines.
Community Health Association
Our team was responsible for both the development and implementation of a comprehensive and innovative provincial sourcing strategy to hire over 100 nurses with mental health and addiction specialties across 14 locations in Ontario. The recruitment campaign involved traditional internet and print advertising but also included targeted advertising at conferences, association and community websites and hundreds of hours in direct search networking with potential candidates. The campaign resulted in hundreds of inquiries and over 1000 applicants submitting resumes.
Our team of recruiters successfully hired over 40 staff for a newly created regulatory agency. We worked closely with the executive team to develop a recruitment and sourcing strategy to attract top talent to fill key senior management, professional and administrative positions. We successfully completed this recruitment project which included hiring the human resources team which allowed the client to manage future recruitment with minimal support from HR Associates.
Senior Project Manager
Our client in the financial services sector required a senior project manager to develop a new employee recognition program and organize a major awards ceremony. Our Interim Professional Team was able to find two candidates with previous project management and organizational development experience. The client selected one candidate and the project was successfully completed within 5 months.
Customer Service Branch in Provincial Ministry
Our Interim Staffing team provided temporary help services to the branch to assist high volume periods and to provide large numbers of staff with short notice. Our team worked with the client to develop service level standards and expedited processes to ensure that these tight turnaround times were met without compromising caliber of staff. Additionally, customized online tests were developed and all candidates were security cleared well in advance of client orders.
Specialized Position with E-Health client
Our client in the E-health sector requested two specialized customer service specialists with a background in health CRM solutions. The candidates would be required to travel throughout Ontario and train health professionals on a new CRM application. To meet this specialized need our IS Team conducted a database search and networked extensively with our network of health professionals to identify potential candidates. Within one week we were able to successfully fill these two specialized positions with two highly qualified candidates.
Toronto Area School Board
HR Associates developed and administered online tests to assess communications, clerical and IT skills for hundreds of potential candidates for the school boards administrative temporary positions. Assessments were completed at our corporate testing facility and at a Board location.
The electronic delivery of assessments resulted in significant time and cost savings for the Board.
Our CertiMetrics Division administers certification exams for building officials in the province of Ontario. These high stakes examinations are coordinated across the province and are overseen by experienced invigilators. Each year we test hundreds of individuals at over 80 locations.
Our team coordinates all aspects of certification examinations for drinking water and wastewater operators in Ontario. Thousands of participants are tested across the province each year at over 100 locations. 10 different high stakes tests are administered using pen and paper or online delivery. In addition to test administration, we determine eligibility to write and manage the overall schedule and registration process.
